DAY 1: NAIROBI – MASAI MARA
08.00a.m. Depart for the Masai Mara Game Reserve, via the view-point of the Great Rift Valley with a stop in Narok town for refueling and lunch. Arrive at the camp at around 2pm check in and later proceed for a evening game drive from 1500 hrs – 1830hrs, tracking various animal species and birds. Dinner and overnight at the Miti Mingi Eco Camp
Day 2: MAAASAI MARA FULL DAY
Wake up very early and have your breakfast then proceed to the reserve. By 0630 hrs. you should be entering the park so as to maximize the full day safari as well as get a chance to witness the sun rise which is so beautiful and refreshing. During the full day game drive you have an option of seeing all the big five that is the buffalo, the leopard, the lion, the elephant as well as other small and large animals such as the topi antelope and the wild beast. During June to October you can have the opportunity to witness the great wild beast migration which happens once a year and is a phenomenal sight to see. You will have your picnic lunch at the Mara River where the migration takes place and have an opportunity to see the hippos and the crocodiles as they lazy around the river. You will later go to the Kenya-Tanzania boarder as you continue with game viewing till evening. Return to the camp for diner and overnight
Day 3: MASAI MARA FULL DAY SAFARI
Wake up to another day filled with adventure. After your breakfast you will head out for the Masai Mara reserve, witness the sun rise and spot animals as they wake up. Maasai Mara is a beauty to behold during sunrise and sunset due to its beautiful vast savannah grassland. You have another opportunity of spotting game that you did not spot the previous day as well as being able to visit areas you might not have visited the previous day. You will have your lunch at Mara river in the company of notorious monkeys. Later continue with the game viewing till you till evening and return back to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: MASAI MARA TO NAKURU
Wake up a bit relaxed after the full day safari and have your breakfast. Check out of your rooms and go for the Maasai village experience to learn about their culture as well as see them dance and listen to their songs. They teach you how to light a fire without using matches. Later proceed to Nakuru with an optional boat ride which entails kayaking in an African way as well as enjoy the prolific bird life around lake Naivasha. Arrive in your hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: LAKE NAKURU TO NAIVASHA
Wake up very early in the morning, after your breakfast check out of your room and proceed for a game drive at your second destination in the Mara, Nakuru, Naivasha safari. In the morning as the sun rises lake Nakuru has a pink appearance due to the pink color of the flamingos which gives you very nice pictures. Lake Nakuru national park is known to be a rhinos sanctuary where the white and black rhino thrive. There are all kinds of animals in Lake Nakuru national park among them leopards, cheetahs, hippos among others. Later exit the park and proceed to Naivasha where you will check in to your rooms and spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Day 6: HELL’S GATE TO AMBOSELI
After breakfast you will check out of your rooms and proceed to Hell’s gate National park which is the only park in Kenya where you can have a walking safari since it does not have predators. There is an optional bike ride here where you do cycling as you enjoy the view of the zebras. Buffaloes, giraffes, elands among others. Hell’s gate is where the famous Lion King movie was acted in. Also at the fishers Tower you can feed the rock hyrax as they are in large numbers here. Exit the park and drive to Amboseli having your lunch on the way. You will arrive in Amboseli in the late afternoon. Check in to your rooms, refresh and relax from the long drive. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 7: AMBOSELI FULL DAY
Have breakfast then set out for the Game Drive in the second best park in Kenya and enjoy the beautiful wildlife that is viewed at a close proximity. Meet the elephants of Amboseli that are really large and the roars of Amboseli. The view even gets better when you get the view of the largest snowcapped mountain of Africa which is Mount Kilimanjaro. Have a picnic lunch. Optional activity of visiting the villages at an extra cost. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 8: AMBOSELI TO NAIROBI
Have an early morning Game Drive to have the last glance of the park and that of its residents then depart to Nairobi. Lunch en-route.
