Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti: Rooms, Location & Safari Routes

What this means for your safari

Waterhole views are a category choice; they should not be promised for every room.

An upper-floor room may be unsuitable without a confirmed step-free route.

A central-Serengeti base does not place every seasonal migration event within a short drive.

Published property details

These details come from the linked property or park sources. A listed facility or activity is not automatically included in your safari price. Availability, opening hours and room allocations can change.

Location and setting

The current official overview lists 77 rooms, suites and villas inside Serengeti National Park; selected categories overlook a waterhole. [source 1]
The property estimates a 45-minute drive from Seronera Airstrip, with domestic-flight connections through Tanzanian airports. [source 2]
Published services include game drives, walking safaris, hot-air-balloon arrangements and airstrip transfers; these need reservation-specific inclusion checks. [source 5]

Rooms, tents and bathrooms

Savannah and Horizon rooms offer king or twin beds; larger options include Terrace Suites and one-, two- and three-bedroom villas. [source 3]
The Horizon Waterhole View room is on an upper floor and has a full private bathroom with a separate shower and soaking tub. [source 4]
The room page specifies that children must be at least two years old to stay at the lodge. [source 4]
Air conditioning, premium Wi-Fi, a safe and tea/coffee equipment are listed for that room category. [source 4]

Facilities, meals and activities

Facilities include an infinity pool, three restaurants, spa, fitness centre, Discovery Centre and Kijana Klub children's space. [source 5]
The getting-here page separately discusses national-park entry and concession fees, which must be reconciled with the actual safari quotation. [source 2]

Things to confirm before booking

Confirm family occupancy for the selected category, supervised children's-programme ages and activity restrictions.
Do not infer that park fees, flights, transfers, lodge activities or a private vehicle are included in Go East Africa's contracted room rate.
Continuous electricity, accessible-room specifications and fencing were not verified.

Safaris that name this stay

These are the exact current catalogue assignments. The accommodation is suggested, subject to availability; the written quotation confirms your reservation. A comfort level describes the whole safari option and is not a hotel star rating.

Common booking questions

Is Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti guaranteed on my dates?

No. We check availability when preparing your quotation. If this stay is unavailable, a comparable property may be proposed. Check its location, room category and facilities before accepting a substitution; the same comfort level does not guarantee the same access or setting.

Are all the property’s activities included?

Only the meals, transfers, park visits and activities listed in your written safari quotation are included. An activity on the property’s website may require a separate booking, fee, age limit or suitable weather.

How should I choose my room?

Give us your required beds and any mobility, bathroom, dietary or reliable-power needs before booking. Ask for the actual room category and access arrangements in writing. Published Wi-Fi or a generator does not guarantee continuous coverage or electricity in every room.
